If you have been sleeping poorly for some time, experiencing fatigue, and these symptoms are accompanied by a bloated abdomen, indigestion – on top of that you eat irregularly and in a hurry abusing coffee or energy drinks, it may mean that your body needs a cleanse. The Juice Diet is an excellent option to cleanse your body of accumulated toxins. How to do it? Read on!

Juice diet what is it?

Juicediet does not mean drinking sugary drinks frequently throughout the day. It is a form of short-term diet that involves the exclusive drinking of juices from vegetables and fruits, supplemented by drinking water or tea. A juice diet can last a day, three days or even a week. However, it requires advance preparation – especially if you want to experience a several-day cleanse. The liquid consistency of natural juices speeds up digestion and helps cleanse the body of accumulated toxins. One of its effects, desired by many, is the loss of excess weight.

How to prepare for a juice diet?

For a body that has not experienced a juice diet before, a sudden change in eating habits may be too drastic for it. Therefore, it is worth a few days before starting the actual diet, to perform a preparatory process. You should gradually give up fast food, bread, alcohol, meat and dairy products. Instead, it is worth eating salads, raw or cooked vegetables and fruits. Since coffee and black tea are not recommended during detox, these liquids should also be given up during the preparation period and replaced with lemon water, for example. By following these guidelines, the diet time can be an enjoyable experience.

Juice diet course

Thejuice diet should not last longer than a week. For the first attempt, even one day is enough, it is worthwhile to test yourself and not forcefully push your limits. The most common is a 3-day diet, which brings a number of benefits and allows the body to cleanse itself of toxins. Those who regularly follow this way of eating can easily go through the 5-7 day process. It is advisable to start the day on a juice diet by drinking a glass of warm water with lemon. Juice consumption should be done 5-6 times a day, it also depends on our needs. Meals consist of artificially unsweetened vegetable and fruit juices, made according to one’s taste. However, it is worth remembering that the sweeter juices made from sweet fruits should be drunk in the first half of the day, while vegetable juices should be consumed in the second part of the day. Herbs, such as leaves of coriander, basil, mint or turmeric, can be an addition to them.

Juice diet effects

Juice diet is used primarily to remove toxins from the body. It results in improved mood, eliminating feelings of fatigue, lethargy or (in some cases) insomnia. It improves mental comfort, improves attentiveness and concentration, provides energy and vitality. In addition, it regulates the work of the digestive system, improves the condition of the skin, strengthens the immune system, helps cleanse the liver and kidneys. Is it possible to lose weight on a juice diet? This question arises with every diet, but indeed the juice diet allows you to lose weight. If you follow a 5-7 day diet, you can lose up to 3 kg.
