Opened in 2003, Noma restaurant in Copenhagen, Denmark, was named the world’s best restaurant in 2021. Its name is a combination of the words “nordisk”-“Nordic” and “mad”-“food.” The restaurant owes its fame to its own interpretation of Scandinavian cuisine. Guests of the restaurant can enjoy, among other things: raw shrimp with seaweed, served with rhubarb and herbs, as well as marinated and smoked quail eggs and young pine cones in syrup. Noma is located in an old warehouse on the waterfront of Christianshavn, a district of Copenhagen.

Asador Etxebarri Restaurant

This restaurant, located in Atxondo in the Basque Country, is famous for its masterful approach to… grilling. Almost all dishes, including dessert, are prepared over an open fire. Various types of firewood, charcoal and, of course, fire are used to create the dishes. Here we can enjoy Palamós shrimp, tomahawk steak and the best Spanish wine. Restaurant Asador Etxebarri in 2019, took 3rd place in the poll of the world’s best restaurants.
